Three Hamilton College athletes won their events in the non-team scoring 2022 Hamilton Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Friday.
Liza Greene '22 finished first in the women's mile run with a time of 5:30.27 and
Betsy Overstrum '23 ended up right behind her in 5:32.49.
Kylie Oblak '24 captured first place in the 3,000-meter run (10:57.09).
Andrea Shipton '22 took the top spot in the pole vault by clearing 3.35 meters.
Leah Basel '24 was runner-up in the long jump with a leap of 4.85 meters, and
Sofia Riker '24 landed in second place in the triple jump with a mark of 9.85 meters.
Riker finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.78 seconds, and
Michelle Wu '25 was second in the 400-meter dash (1:05.71).
Vicky Dunn '22 grabbed seventh place in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 8.63 seconds after she qualified in eighth place with a time of 8.72 seconds in the preliminary heats.
The Continentals are back at Utica College for the third time this season in the Blue and Orange Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m.
