Women’s tennis wraps up fall season at ITA Regional Championships

The Hamilton College Continentals wrapped up their fall season at the 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Women's Division III Northeast Regional Championships at William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y., on Monday.

After going 4-0 in singles play over the weekend, Hannah Apsey '25 made it to the semifinals where she lost to the No. 1 seed Carol Plakk from New York University, 6-0, 6-1. Apsey was seeded in the 5-8 range for the singles draw.

Apsey and teammate Lauren Holtzman '23 went 3-1 in their doubles matches and made it to the semifinal round on Sunday.

Apsey is off to an impressive start to her college career, going 8-1 in singles matches and 7-1 in doubles.
