The team's head coach is Hannah Dave and the assistant coach is Jessica Foley. All 18 team members play NCAA field hockey with 12 coming from Division III programs, five from Division I and one from Division II.

The first Maccabiah was in 1932 and is traditionally held every four years. By 2017 the Games included nearly 10,000 Jewish athletes from more than 75 countries competing in 40 sports.

Maccabi USA is a non-profit organization that uses sports to build Jewish pride, identity, community and connection to Israel. It is the official sponsor of the U.S. delegation to the Maccabiah and Maccabi Youth Games.

Munoz played in five games this year for the Continentals and picked up an assist in Hamilton's 2-1 overtime win at University of Rochester in the regular season finale. The Continentals finished the season ranked 20th in the Division III Top 20 coaches poll with a 10-6 record, including 5-5 in the NESCAC.
