The Hamilton College Continentals swept the three doubles matches and posted a 7-2 victory against the Ithaca College Bombers in non-conference action at Ithaca's Wheeler Tennis Complex on Thursday.
Hamilton (4-9 overall) will go for two straight wins on Saturday, April 28 when the Continentals host Connecticut College for a NESCAC match. The Bombers dropped to 4-10 overall.
Sophia Aulicino '21 posted her team-leading 12th singles triumph by defeating Brianna Ruback in their first flight match. Aulicino teamed up with Jane Haffer '19 for their first victory as a doubles pair when they cruised past Ruback and Sara Steinberg at second flight. Haffer's win at second flight singles was the 34th of her Hamilton career.
Ajla Karabegovic '21 dropped just one game as she evened her record at 11-11 with a triumph at fourth flight singles. Karabegovic and Audrey Chor '21 notched their sixth victory as a doubles pair by defeating Kathryn Shaffer and Caroline Dunn in first flight action.
Katherine McNally '18 celebrated her first collegiate singles win when she bested Parley Hannan at sixth flight. McNally and Ndanu Mutisya '21 were winners at third flight doubles for the second time this spring.
