The Hamilton College Continentals edged the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 5-4 in a non-conference match at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla., on Friday.
Hamilton (2-5 overall) also dropped a 7-0 decision against Division I Towson University at the USTA National Campus on Thursday. The Continentals won't return to the courts until Thursday, April 5 when they travel to Union College for another non-conference event.
Ndanu Mutisya '21 clinched the victory for Hamilton with her triumph at fourth flight singles. Doubles partners Audrey Chor '21 and Ajla Karabegovic '21 cruised to an 8-0 win against second flight opponents Georgeen Belrose and Shannel Johnson. Chor then won at second flight singles and Karabegovic blanked Belrose at third flight singles by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Jane Haffer '19 was a winner in straight sets at first flight singles.
