The Hamilton College women's tennis team won for the fourth time in five matches, posting an 8-1 win over visiting Rochester Institute of Technology Sunday afternoon in a contest played in Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Continentals improved to 7-3 on the year.

Highlighting the match was Claire Keyte '17 setting the school record for career doubles wins; she teamed with Samantha Weeks '19 for a second doubles victory.

Hamilton swept the six singles matches, with three Continentals posting 6-0, 6-0 wins; Keyte (number two), Jane Haffer '19 (number three) and Weeks (number four).  Keyte is now 8-7 this year, with Haffer and Weeks both picking up their team-leading 11th win.

The Continentals' other singles wins came from Winnie Tang '17, who rallied from a set down to win at the first spot; Iona Forrester '20, who posted a straight-set victory at number five; and Claudia Morse '19, a 2-1 winner in the sixth slot (her first singles win of the year). Tang raised her record to 9-6 and Forrester is now 6-2.

Morse and Forrester closed out Hamilton's winners, posting a victory at third doubles.

Hamilton returns to NESCAC action Sunday with an 11 a.m. match at Wesleyan. The Cardinals are ranked eighth in the latest national poll.
