Trinity College's Chandler Solimine scored 4:24 into the first sudden-victory overtime period and lifted the Bantams to a 4-3 NESCAC win against Hamilton College at Hamilton's Goodfriend Field on Saturday.

Solimine and Kelcie Finn finished with two goals apiece as Trinity rallied from 2-0 and 3-1 deficits. They have scored 11 of the team's 14 goals. Lori Berger made three saves -- all after halftime.

Seven players recorded a point and Julia Booth '19 stopped a season-high nine shots for the Continentals (1-3, 0-2 NESCAC).

Solimine's game-winner was her team-high sixth goal this year. Booth had just saved a shot by Finn from close range but Solimine was there for the rebound and she whacked the loose ball into the cage.

Hamilton grabbed a 1-0 lead 9:13 into the first half when Michaela Giuttari '20 notched her second collegiate goal. Sarah Stinebaugh '19 controlled the ball near the end line to the left of the goal and centered a pass back to Giuttari, who one-timed a shot past Berger from point-blank range.

Lizzie Clarke '20 made it 2-0 with her first goal for the Continentals on a penalty corner with 2:56 left in the half. Emma Anderson '17 inserted the ball to Liz Wagenbach '18 and Wagenbach stopped it for Clarke, who blasted a shot from the top of the circle. Hamilton took its two-goal lead into the break.

The Bantams (3-1, 1-1) cut their deficit in half 3:48 into the second half. Finn tipped a pass from Brenna Hobin past a charging Booth from the middle of the circle for Trinity's first goal of the day.

Eva Rosencrans '17 restored the Continentals' two-goal cushion a little more than four minutes later. Caroline Ames '17 passed the ball to Rosencrans, who was near the penalty stroke dot. Rosencrans spun around and swept a backhand shot into the cage for her 41st career goal and 90th career point. She leads the team with four goals this year.

The Bantams pulled within a goal again with 20:16 left in regulation. Nicole Quinlan inserted a penalty corner to Mia Olsen and Olsen stopped it for Solimine, who hammered a shot into the cage.

Finn's fifth goal tied the score at 3-3 with 10:27 remaining in the second half. Her initial shot was stopped by Booth but the loose ball came right back to Finn and she deposited it into the cage.

Hamilton had three shots and one penalty corner in the last three minutes of regulation despite being down a player for the final 3:20 thanks to a yellow card.

Trinity held an 18-14 shot advantage but the Continentals were awarded 11 penalty corners to nine for the Bantams.

Hamilton hosts Connecticut College for another NESCAC contest on Saturday, Sept. 24 at noon. Trinity is at Keene State in non-conference action on Thursday, Sept. 22.
