The Hamilton College Continentals are tied at No. 12 in the 2026 Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday, August 25.
 
Hamilton, which finished last season with a record of 12-6, is tied in the preseason poll with Stevens Institute of Technology. The Continentals defeated SUNY Geneseo in double overtime at home in the first round of the 2025 NCAA championship and advanced to the second round for the first time in program history. Hamilton's 12 wins last fall were the team's highest total since 2016. The Continentals are coached by Missy Mariano, who is entering her ninth season at Hamilton.
 
2025 NFHCA all-American Isabelle Nahon '27 leads the returning Continentals. The defender finished with three goals, four assists and a defensive save in 18 games. Brighton McMahon '29 (three goals, three assists), Alden Duserick '27 (four goals), Morgan Clarke '28 (five defensive saves) and Kelly Janssen '28 (0.85 goals against average, .820 save percentage) are the other top returners.
 
Hamilton kicks off the 2026 season with a home game against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Goodfriend Field on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. The Continentals are members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
