The Hamilton College women's tennis team posted its seventh straight win Saturday, dominating visiting Rochester Institute of Technology 9-0 in a non-conference match played inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Continentals improved to 11-2 on the season with their sixth 9-0 victory.

Hamilton dropped just 15 games in sweeping the six singles matches and won two of the three doubles contests by 8-0 scores.

Four Continentals contributed in both singles and doubles, including the third doubles pairing of Jane Bary '19 and Isabella Schoning '16, who are now 7-1 overall. They blanked their doubles opponents and cruised to straight set wins: Bary didn't lose a game at fourth singles to raise her season mark to 7-2 and Schoning yielded just a game in a second singles triumph that puts her at 15-4 this year.

Samantha Weeks '19 breezed to her 15th singles win of the season, raising her mark to 15-1 by winning at third flight. She and Claire Keyte '17 improved to 12-3 on the year by winning for the second time at the first spot.

Hamilton's other double winner was Jane Haffer '19. She's now 13-5 in singles play following a win in the first spot. She and Lindsay Jadow '19 moved to 10-8 on the year with a shutout at number two.

Playing for the first time this spring, Mei Lin Pratt '16 was a sixth singles winner and Emily Chan '16 completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the fifth position.

The Continentals return to NESCAC competition with a weekend trip to Maine, where they'll face Bowdoin Saturday and Colby Sunday. The Polar Bears are ranked fourth in the latest national coaches' poll.
