WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in 13^th place out of 18 teams at the 2026 Division III Northeast Elite tournament, which was co-hosted by Penn State Altoona and Penn College at Williamsport Country Club on Sunday, Sept. 27 and Monday, Sept. 28.
 
Jonathan Moon '29 led Hamilton as he tied for 26^th place out of 90 golfers at 151. Moon's three-over par 74 on Saturday was tied for the best round of the tournament for the Continentals.
 
Gunnar Moore '29 tied for 35^th place two shots behind Moon with rounds of 75 and 78.
 
Thomas Beaudoin '27 was another shot back in a tie for 43^rd place. Beaudoin fired a career-best 74 in the first round.
 
Wyatt Lupo '29 was tied with Beaudoin at 154 (75-79). Lupo hasn't shot worse than 79 this fall and leads Hamilton with an 18-hole stroke average of 76.43 through seven rounds.
 
Gus Palmer '30 carded rounds of 79 and 78 and finished at 157 for the 36-hole event.
 
The Continentals recorded a four-person team score of 298 on Saturday and 312 on Sunday for a tournament total of 610. Penn State Altoona captured the team title at 578, Gettysburg College was runner-up at 589 and Franklin & Marshall College ended up in third place at 592.
 
Hamilton competes in the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Collegiate Invitational at Shaker Ridge Country Club in Albany, N.Y., on Monday, Oct. 5.
