WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in 12^th place out of 17 teams at the Williams College Fall Invitational, which was held at Taconic Golf Club on Sept. 19 and 20.
 
Wyatt Lupo '29 led Hamilton in a tie for 15^th place out of 89 golfers with a 54-hole score of 225. Lupo was four-over par after rounds of 72 and 74 on Saturday. He finished with a 79 in cool and rainy weather in Sunday's final round. Lupo leads the team with a 76.20 stroke average for 18 holes.
 
Gunnar Moore '29 tied for 36^th place at 230, highlighted by a career-best 72 in Saturday's second round. Moore's 78 in the final round was the best of the day for the Continentals.
 
Gus Palmer '30 ended up in a tie for 43^rd place at 232. Palmer carded two rounds of 73 on Saturday and was tied with Lupo at four-over par after 36 holes.
 
Thomas Beaudoin '27 recorded rounds of 76 and 78 on Saturday. The 76 tied his collegiate best for 18 holes. Max Greenberg-Winnick '28 posted a career-best 77 in the second round.
 
Hamilton was in ninth place at the end of the first day after four-person team scores of 301 and 296. The Continentals slipped to 326 in the third round and landed at 923 for the tournament. Pomona-Pitzer College captured the team title at 877 and Trinity College was runner-up at 888.
 
Hamilton competes in the Division III Northeast Elite tournament at Williamsport Country Club in Williamsport, Pa., on September 27 and 28.
