The Hamilton College Continentals were recognized with a 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award on Thursday, July 23 when the organization released its list of award recipients.
 
Teams earned the award by maintaining a grade point average of 3.3 or better on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. Hamilton, which was led last season by Head Coach Kristin Baker, collected the award for the 16^th straight year.
 
The Continentals' 2026 season opener is against Bridgewater State University in Smith College's Bonnie May Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 5. Hamilton's first match at home is Friday, Oct. 2 against Tufts University.
