The Hamilton College Continentals earned a 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, on Wednesday, July 22 when the ABCA released its list of award winners.
 
All high school and college baseball programs that have a head coach who is a current ABCA member and posted a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 academic year were eligible for the award.
 
Hamilton collected the award for the fourth consecutive year under Head Coach Tim Byrnes. The Continentals went 6-6 in the NESCAC West Division and clinched a spot in the 2026 NESCAC Quarterfinal Series. Hamilton placed 13 student-athletes on the 2026 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
