Hamilton College's
Tarun Korwar '27 (Hyderabad, India/Rockwell International School) was selected for the 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Tennis All-Conference Team on Wednesday, May 6 when the organization announced its end-of-season awards.
Â
Korwar was one of seven athletes on all-NESCAC second team singles, as voted on by the conference's head coaches. The all-NESCAC honor was his third with the Continentals, but his first for singles play. Korwar was on the second team for doubles in 2024 and 2025.
Â
Korwar posted an 8-3 record in dual matches, including 2-3 against conference opponents, during the spring season. He played all 11 matches at No. 1 singles. Korwar missed the last six matches this spring with an injury.
Â
During the fall season, Korwar racked up a 12-6 record playing in five tournaments. The highlight was his 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Northeast Regional Championships title in early October. Korwar was believed to be the first Hamilton men's tennis player to win an ITA regional singles crown. The win in the regional singles tournament qualified him for the ITA Cup where he competed with the best players in NCAA Division III in Rome, Ga., in mid-October.
