HAMILTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Lleyton Mendieta '28 and
Mohammed Zahaan Siddiqui '30 won all three of their doubles matches at the 2026 Colgate University Men's Tennis Invitational, which was played on Saturday, Oct. 3 and Sunday, Oct. 4.
The Continentals played singles and doubles matches against Division I Colgate, Division II Le Moyne College and Saint Francis University (Pa.), which was Division I but is transitioning to Division III.
Martin Dimitrov '30 led Hamilton's effort in singles by winning both of his matches.
Stuart Konezny '30 won two out of three matches and
Alexei Katelevsky '29 defeated a Colgate opponent in his only singles match of the weekend.
Filip Moller '29, Alex Salib '29 and
Ignatio Tran '27 split two matches each.
The doubles team of Katelevsky and Moller triumphed in two out of three matches.
Charlie Sternberg '27 also recorded two victories in three of his doubles matches. Sternberg won one of his matches with Konezny and paired up with
Shabad Singh '30 for the other win.
The Continentals posted a 7-5 doubles record for the weekend.
Katelevsky and Moller will compete in the doubles draw in the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Ga., from Oct. 15 to Oct. 18.
