ROME, Ga. – Hamilton College's
Alexei Katelevsky '29 and
Filip Moller '29 enjoyed a satisfying end to the 2026 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup in the NCAA Division III men's doubles back draw at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Katelevsky and Moller lost in the round of 16 to the fourth seed from Emory University in the main draw on Thursday and were scheduled to play a doubles team from New York University on Friday, but instead they advanced via a walkover due to injury. The Continentals' duo moved on to a match with Lewis & Clark College's Kaden Sigurdsson and Noah Sutin on Saturday and outlasted them after a dramatic third set super-tiebreaker, 7-6 (1), 2-6 and 13-11.
Katelevsky and Moller qualified for the ITA Cup by winning four matches and advancing to the final in the ITA Division III Men's Northeast Regional Championship at Skidmore College in late September. This was the third straight year the Hamilton men sent at least one athlete to the ITA Cup.
