WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in fifth place out of eight teams in the 2026 NESCAC Women's Golf Championship after the third and final round at Taconic Golf Club on Sunday, May 3.
Hamilton registered a four-person team score of 310 for the second day in a row and finished at 943 for the 54-hole event. Amherst College captured the team title and the automatic bid for the NCAA Division III championship at 901. Middlebury College, which led after the first two rounds, finished one shot back.
Aubrey Lee '28 led the Continentals for the second time this weekend as she fired a 4-over-par 75. Lee made four birdies – the most by any Hamilton player in any round all weekend – and tied for 15
th place out of 39 golfers at 233. Her birdie on the second hole was one of just two by the 39-player field in the third round.
Peyton Sichol '26 led the Continentals with an even-par 35 on the front nine en route to her 76 on Sunday. Sichol was the only player in the field who birdied the eighth hole in the final round. She finished at 237 for the tournament.
Shanya Arasu '28 carded a 79 and finished in 17
th place at 235.
Keira Joshi '27 birdied the opening hole and was the only player that made three on the par-four 11
th hole in her round of 80.
Kiran Bagga '29 shot 39 on the back nine and ended up with an 81.
Hamilton will await a possible at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship. The selections will be announced on Monday, May 11.
