Luke Tchor '27 (Toronto, Ontario/St. Martin Secondary School) was selected Player of the Year and Head Coach
Rob Haberbusch was named Coach of the Year on Tuesday, March 3 when the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) announced its men's hockey awards for the 2025-26 season.

The awards and all-NESCAC team were voted on by the conference's head coaches. In addition to the two award winners, the Continentals placed six athletes on the 2026 all-NESCAC team.

Tchor and defenseman
John Wojciechowski '28 (Rockford, Ill./Boylan Central Catholic HS) made the first team. Goaltender
Aksel Reid '27 (Minneapolis, Minn./The Blake School), defenseman
Connor Thue '29 (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Shattuck-St. Mary's School [Minn.]), and forwards
Devon de Vries '27 (Saint-Lazare, Quebec/Stanstead College) and
Jackson Krock '26 (Mars, Pa./Mars Area HS) were placed on the second team.

Tchor repeated as player of the year and he was also the 2024 rookie of the year. This was his third year on the all-conference first team. Tchor was second in the NESCAC with 11 goals in 14 conference games and tied for fourth with 18 points. His four game-winning goals in NESCAC play led the conference. Overall, Tchor has 15 goals and 13 assists for 28 points in 21 games this season.

Wojciechowski, who has emerged as one of the top offensive defensemen in the NESCAC, is on the all-conference team for the first time. He tied for 10
th with 10 points in 18 NESCAC games and tied for 13
th with 15 points. Three of his five goals in conference play were game-winners. Wojciechowski led the NESCAC with 30 blocked shots and was second in plus/minus at plus-12. He currently has 20 points in 25 games overall, including three helpers in a NESCAC championship quarterfinal victory against Connecticut College on Feb. 28.

Reid, who is on the all-NESCAC team for the first time, started every conference game in net and led the NESCAC with a 1.51 goals against average. He was second with a .934 save percentage and posted five shutouts in 18 starts.

Thue made the all-conference team for the first time. He ended up with eight assists and 11 blocked shots in 18 NESCAC games, and was third with a plus/minus of plus-11. Thue has 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) overall and has played in all 25 games.

Devon de Vries, who is one of the top playmakers in the conference, garnered his first all-NESCAC team honor. He tied for second with 13 assists in 18 conference games and tied for fourth with 18 points. For the entire season, he leads Hamilton with 29 points on six goals and 23 helpers in 25 games.

Krock was first team all-NESCAC in 2025 and is one of the best centers in the conference. He was second with 210 faceoff wins in 18 NESCAC games and sixth with a faceoff winning percentage of 55.6 percent. Krock was also tied for 10
th with 10 assists and tied for 17
th with 14 points. He currently has seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points with 308 faceoff wins in 25 games.

Haberbusch collected his third coach of the year honor (also in 2025 and 2017). Norm Bazin (2010, 2011) is the only other Hamilton men's hockey coach who has won the award. Haberbusch guided the Continentals to a 14-3-1 conference record, first place in the NESCAC standings with 42 points and the No. 1 seed in the conference championship. Hamilton is 19-4-2 overall and ranked second in the NCAA Division III Power Index and third in the USCHO.com Top 15 poll.

The Continentals host Williams College in a NESCAC semifinal at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7. Hamilton defeated Connecticut College 5-4 in overtime in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28.
