Men's tennis ranked 28th in Division III preseason coaches poll

Continentals were 16-5 last season and have players in the singles and doubles rankings

The Hamilton College Continentals are ranked 28th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's Preseason Top 40 coaches poll, which was released on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

Hamilton had three of its players in the ITA Division III singles and doubles rankings back in November. Tarun Korwar '27 was ranked 13th in singles and Eerik Villem Aadamsoo '28 and Lleyton Mendieta '28 were ranked 15th in doubles.

Korwar captured the singles draw title in the 2025 ITA Division III Men's Northeast Regional Championships at Skidmore College in October, while Mendieta and Aadamsoo reached the doubles final. All three qualified to compete in the ITA Cup at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.

Korwar's singles record during the fall season was 12-6 and he was 6-4 with doubles partner Anson Anderson '26. Mendieta and Aadamsoo posted a 10-5 record as a doubles pairing during the fall.

In addition to the ITA events, the Continentals competed in tournaments at St. Lawrence University, Middlebury College, Swarthmore College and Haverford College during the fall season. Hamilton's head coach is Peter Arsenault, who was recognized as the 2025 Division III Men's Coach of the Year for the Northeast Region by the ITA in May.
