The Hamilton College Continentals earned a 2024-25 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award on Wednesday, July 23 when the organization released the list of award winners.
 
The award recognizes teams that achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year. The team's head coach must be a current ABCA member. This is the third year in a row Hamilton has been recognized with this award under Head Coach Tim Byrnes.
 
The Continentals started the season with an 8-5 record during spring break in Florida and later recorded wins against University of Rochester, Middlebury College and Wesleyan University. Middlebury went on to earn a spot in the NCAA Division III championship regionals. Chester Boynton '27 and Eddie Taylor '25 were 2025 all-NESCAC team selections as an infielder and a pitcher, respectively.
