CANTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Tarun Korwar '27 and
Anson Anderson '26 won the 'A' flight doubles draw in the 2025 St. Lawrence University Fall Classic at Sammis Tennis Courts on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14.
Korwar and Anderson defeated opponents from Union College, St. Lawrence and Hobart College on the way to the final, which was played against teammates
Lleyton Mendieta '28 and
Eerik Villem Aadamsoo '28. Korwar and Anderson captured the title by an 8-2 decision. Mendieta and Aadamsoo knocked out opponents from Ithaca College, University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology.
Korwar and Anderson are 27-18 as doubles partners while Aadamsoo and Mendieta are 22-10. Anderson recorded his 50
th doubles victory during the event and is up to 52 for his Hamilton career.
Alexei Katelevsky '29 and
Alejandro Fernandez '28 were runners-up in the 'B' flight and 'D' flight singles draws, respectively. Katelevsky, who was playing in his first collegiate event, eliminated opponents from Hobart, Ithaca and RIT. Fernandez had one singles win all of last season but defeated opponents from Ithaca, Rochester and RIT over the weekend.

Akshat Dhull '29 (B flight),
Dylan Trinh '29 (C flight) and
Neal Gupta '26 (D flight) won their first round singles matches.
Filip Moller '29, who was also playing in his first event with the Continentals, triumphed his first two "C" flight singles matches but was forced to retire in the semifinals.
Dhull and Trinh were first round winners against an Ithaca pairing in the "B" flight doubles draw, but they fell in the quarterfinals against a duo from RIT.
Hamilton competes in the Middlebury College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21.
