Arsenault recognized as men's tennis Northeast Region coach of the year

Led the Continentals to a 16-5 record and top 25 national ranking

Hamilton College's Peter Arsenault was selected the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men's Coach of the Year for the Northeast Region on Monday, May 19 when the ITA announced their regional award recipients.

Arsenault guided the Continentals to one of their best seasons in program history as they finished with a record of 16-5 and were 25th in the May 14 ITA Division III Men's Collegiate Tennis Team Rankings. Hamilton was ranked as high as 21st and defeated two top 10 teams in April. The 16 wins were the most since 1993-94 when the Continentals went 16-7.

Connor Griff '25 reached the finals of the singles draw and did the same in the doubles draw with Antonio Chavez '28 at the 2024 ITA Northeast Regional Championships. Griff and Chavez were victorious in the first round and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 ITA Cup. Griff and Chavez, who will earn all-America honors for their win in the first round, were the first Hamilton tennis players that ever competed at the ITA Cup.

Griff and Chavez appeared in the ITA national singles and doubles rankings in November 2024. Griff was ranked 15th in singles and he and Chavez were ranked 13th in doubles.
