Hamilton College's
Max Klivans '25 (San Francisco, Calif./Lowell HS) was selected for the 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Rowing All-Conference Team on Friday, May 16 when the conference announced their end-of-season awards.
Klivans was one of 10 athletes on the second team. The 10-member squads are comprised of individuals from the conference's eight teams and are based on each team's finish at the NESCAC championships, which were held on May 11 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
Klivans rowed in the seventh seat for Hamilton's varsity eight in the 2025 NESCAC Men's Championship, which doubled as the National Invitational Rowing Championships. He was in the third seat when the varsity eight earned the silver medal at the 2025 New York State Collegiate Championships at Fish Creek on April 19.
"No matter where he sits in a boat, Max has a positive impact on speed and competitiveness," Head Coach
Anna Lindgren-Streicher said. "His development as a boat mover not only made him a more effective athlete, it also helped his teammates unlock more of their own potential as individuals and a unit throughout the course of the season."
The Continentals' varsity eight was ranked 11th in the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association/Intercollegiate Rowing Association Division III Top 15 poll as of May 7.
