WORCESTER, Mass. – Hamilton College rowed in the Worcester Polytechnic Institute/Clark University Invitational at Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday morning, April 13.
 
Nationally ranked No. 14 Hamilton finished fourth out of four boats in the second heat of the varsity eight with a time of 7:10.85. No. 5 Bates College (6:51.1), No. 8 Wellesley College (7:00.15) and No. 15 Clark University finished ahead of the Continentals.
 
Hamilton landed in third place out of four entries in the second heat of the second varsity eight with a time of 7:26.78. Bates (7:05.3) and Wellesley (7:13.9) took the top two spots and Clark (8:16.48) ended up well behind the Continentals.
 
In the second heat of the third varsity eight, Hamilton was third out of three boats in 7:43.77. Bates (7:21.9) was the winner and Wellesley (7:28.56) was the runner-up.
 
The Continentals compete with Williams College and Tufts University at Lake Onota in Pittsfield, Mass., on Saturday, April 26.
