PHILADELPHIA – Hamilton College dominated the bottom of the ladder and the Continentals posted a 6-3 win against the Connecticut College Camels in a 2025 College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships Summers Cup consolation draw semifinal at Arlen Specter US Squash Center on Saturday afternoon, March 1.
Hamilton (6-10), which is 25th in the CSA men's varsity team rankings, takes on Dickinson College in the consolation draw final at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 2. The Continentals edged Dickinson 5-4 at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Feb. 2. Conn. College, which is ranked 28
th, dropped to 5-12 this season.
Joseph Applebaum '28 was a winner at the second position and picked up his first victory against a NESCAC opponent.
Four Continentals swept their opponents in three games.
Lucas Walden '28 and
Cooper Jessop '27 were winners at the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
Simon Muller '25 (seventh position) recorded his team-high eighth victory and
Carter Furmanek '27 (eighth) improved to 2-0 at the team championships.
Tate Burgin '25 improved to 5-3 this season after he triumphed at the ninth position. Burgin registered his 23
rd career win at Hamilton.
