CLINTON, N.Y. – Seven Trinity College players won their matches in three games and the Bantams defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 7-2 in a 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Squash Championship quarterfinal inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Saturday, Feb. 14.
The Continentals (8-9 overall) were the eighth seed for the championship and 22
nd in the College Squash Association varsity team rankings. Trinity (12-0) was the top seed for the championship and No. 1 in the varsity team rankings.
Carlo Caffuzzi '27 and
William Gianopulos '29 were the winners for Hamilton at the eighth and ninth positions, respectively. Caffuzzi prevailed in four games and improved his record to 5-3. Gianopulos allowed just 13 points in his three-game sweep and became the first Continental to reach 10 victories this season. He has won his last five matches.
Hamilton is back in action at Haverford College on Saturday, Feb. 21 at noon.
