CLINTON, N.Y. – Connecticut College swept the three positions at the top of the ladder and the Camels edged the Hamilton College Continentals 5-4 inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
The Continentals, who are 25
th in the College Squash Association rankings, dropped their record to 1-4. Conn. College (3-7) is ranked 29
th. The meeting between the teams was billed as the College Squash Association Men's Match of the Week.
Jacob Shulman '26 outlasted his opponent in five games at the fourth position. Shulman started out on the right foot with a 12-10 win in the first game and clinched the match with an 11-9 decision in the fifth.
Cooper Jessop '27 swept his opponent in three games at the sixth position for his first win at Hamilton.
Simon Muller '25 also won in three games at the seventh position, and
Jacob Stoffman '28 prevailed in four games at the eighth position. Muller and Stoffman lead the team with two wins apiece this season.
The Continentals travel to Maine for a match with Bates College on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m.
