Women's lacrosse plays NESCAC championship quarterfinal at Colby

Fifth-seeded Continentals square off with the fourth-seeded Mules in Maine

The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Waterville, Maine, to play the Colby College Mules in a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Lacrosse Championship quarterfinal at Colby's Bill Alfond Field on Saturday, April 27 at noon.

Hamilton (7-7 overall), which is seventh in the NCAA Region I rankings and is receiving votes in the IL/Women Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll, tied for fourth place in the conference standings with a 5-5 record and is the fifth seed for the championship. The Continentals defeated the Mules in the 2012 quarterfinals in their only previous NESCAC championship meeting.

Nationally ranked No. 10 Colby (10-5), which is fourth in the NCAA Region I rankings, tied for fourth place in the conference standings with a 5-5 record and is the fourth seed for the championship. The Mules posted a 12-2 win at Hamilton back on March 23. Colby is tied for second in the NESCAC with an 8.53 goals against average.
