CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College men's squash team played their home openers at Little Squash Center on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
 
The Continentals (1-2 overall) lost 8-1 against Amherst College on Saturday morning and dropped a 9-0 decision against Williams College on Sunday evening. Hamilton was 25^th in the College Squash Association team rankings while Amherst was 19^th and Williams 11^th.
 
Lucas Walden '28 picked up the team point for the Continentals against Amherst with his win in five games at the fifth position. Walden lost the first game but won the next two before his opponent evened the match in the fourth game. He prevailed 11-9 in the fifth and deciding game, and improved his record to 2-0.
 
The Continentals take a break during the holidays and return to the courts on Tuesday, Jan. 7 when they host Middlebury College at 4 p.m.
