CLINTON, N.Y. – All seven matches won by Hamilton College players ended in just three games as the Continentals posted a 7-2 victory against Hobart College inside Hobart's Smith Squash Center on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 17.
Hamilton, which is 25th in the College Squash Association team rankings, was playing its season opener. No. 31 Hobart dropped to 1-3 this season.
Atreyus Bhavsar '26, who tied for the team lead with nine wins last season, earned the Continentals' lone victory at the top of the ladder as he prevailed at the first position.
Lucas Walden '28 (fourth position) and
Jacob Stoffman '28 (fifth position) were winners in their first collegiate matches.
Simon Muller '25 evened his career record at 7-7 with a victory at the sixth position.
Tate Burgin '25 (seventh position) leads all Hamilton returners with 19 career wins.
Blake Davis '25 (eighth position) was a winner for the first time since the 2021-22 season.
Carter Furmanek '27 surrendered just 10 points in his triumph at the ninth position.
The Continentals host Amherst College on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. inside Little Squash Center.
