WORCESTER, Mass. – Hamilton College finished in sixth place in the petite final of the men's varsity eight at the 2023 National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) held on Lake Quinsigamond on Friday, May 12.

The 2023 NESCAC Men's and Women's Rowing Championships were conducted concurrently with NIRC at the event. The Continentals also finished fifth in the petite final of the second varsity eight and seventh in the petite final of the open four.

"Racing at the NIRC/NESCAC Championships is the final measure of our body of work," Head Coach James Lister said. "Each of our boats raced closely with their peer boats from last week at New York State Championships. I am proud that each boat put together solid race performances. This young crew team has a lot of potential to build towards meeting that speed next year."
