CLINTON, N.Y. – Amherst College swept the doubles matches and the Mammoths went on to a 7-2 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday, April 8.
 
The Continentals (2-9, 2-5 NESCAC) honored Matt Bartok '23, Eric Stein '23 and Ryan Zeien '23 prior to the last home match of their careers. Hamilton is at Wesleyan University for another conference match on Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m.
 
Amherst (7-4, 3-3) is 21^st in the Division III Intercollegiate Tennis Association Collegiate Tennis Rankings. The Continentals are 15^th in the Northeast Region.
 
Connor Griff '25 is ranked ninth in the region in singles play, and he won again on Saturday. Griff lost just two games against 17^th-ranked Ed Opie at first flight singles. He's 18-5 this season and 31-12 in his Hamilton career.
 
Anson Anderson '26 won in straight sets at second flight singles. Anderson is second on the team to Griff in singles victories with eight this season.
