CLINTON, N.Y. -- The Hamilton College Continentals nearly posted a NESCAC win but came up just short in a 5-4 decision against the Colby College Mules inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday.
The match was the first this season for the Continentals and Colby. The Mules are No. 26 in the most recent ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.Â
Connor Griff '25 and
Lorenzo Gunningham '26 were victorious in both their singles and doubles matches. Griff continued his outstanding season as he improved to 12-1 in singles play.
Coby Feldman '26 and Griff won for the first time as a doubles pair.
Gunningham is now 5-3 as a singles player.
Anson Anderson '26 and Gunningham are 8-3 after their triumph at second flight doubles.
Hamilton hosts No. 14 Bowdoin College for another conference match on Sunday, March 5 at 10 a.m.
