Men's tennis loses their Florida finale against Hobart, 8-1

Anderson '26 and Esposito '24 improved to 3-0 as a doubles team for the Continentals

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hobart College swept the singles matches and the Statesmen defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 8-1 in a non-conference match played at the USTA National Campus on Wednesday.
 
Hamilton (2-6 overall) is back on the court on Saturday, April 1 when the Continentals host Bates College for a NESCAC match at 10 a.m. Hobart improved its overall record to 4-3.
 
Hamilton's team point came from Anson Anderson '26 and Gianni Esposito '24 at second flight doubles. The duo improved to 3-0 as a doubles team with an 8-3 win over Troy Steiner and Harry Lyu, who were ranked eighth in the region back in the fall.
