Men's tennis drops 6-1 decision at Division II Eckerd in Florida

Anderson '26 and Gunningham '26 improved to 10-4 as a doubles team for the Continentals

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Hamilton College Continentals dropped a 6-1 decision against Division II Eckerd College at Eckerd's Bullard Courts on Friday.
 
Hamilton (2-3 overall) plays Warner University of NAIA at Bartow Civic Center Tennis Courts in Bartow, Fla., on Monday, March 20 at 4:30 p.m. Eckerd earned the doubles team point for winning two out of three matches.
 
Nicolas Gritz '25 was a winner in three sets at fifth flight singles. He clinched the match with an 11-9 decision in the third set super-tiebreaker.
 
Anson Anderson '26 and Lorenzo Gunningham '26 are 10-4 this season as a doubles pairing after their 6-4 win at second flight. Anderson leads the Continentals with 11 doubles victories overall.
