HARTFORD, Conn. – Hamilton College swept the doubles matches and the Continentals posted a 6-3 NESCAC win against the Trinity College Bantams at Trinity's Assaiante Tennis Center on Sunday.
Connor Griff '25, Anson Anderson '26 and
Nicolas Gritz '25 led Hamilton by winning their singles and doubles matches. Griff is 14-2 after yet another victory at first flight singles. He also teamed up with
Coby Feldman '26 for a win at first flight doubles.
Anderson lost the first set at second flight singles, won the second and then outlasted his opponent in a third set tiebreaker. Anderson and
Lorenzo Gunningham '26 improved to 9-4 as a pairing with their triumph at second flight doubles.
Gritz won in straight sets at sixth flight singles and evened his record at 4-4. Gritz and
Gianni Esposito '24 are 9-3 as doubles partners after their victory at third flight.
The Continentals play four matches in Florida during spring break. The first one is at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg on Friday, March 17 at 3 p.m.
