Men's squash draws Trinity in NESCAC championship quarterfinal

Continentals will play at Williams on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

The Hamilton College Continentals will take on the Trinity College Bantams in a 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Squash Championship quarterfinal at Williams College's Simon Squash Center on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

No. 8 seed Hamilton and No. 1 seed Trinity will play their match on courts seven through 12. This is the first year the NESCAC championship is an eight-team event. All 11 schools were involved from 2007 through 2022.

The Continentals have a 4-7 record this season and are coming off wins against Connecticut College on Jan. 29 and Wesleyan University on Feb. 5. Hamilton is 24th in the most recent College Squash Overall Team Rankings.

The Bantams are 12-4 and ranked fifth overall. Trinity has lost its last three matches going into the championship, but the opponents were Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. The Bantams have won all of the previous 15 conference championships.
