MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Four Hamilton College swimmers scored team points in the 100-yard freestyle in the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at Wesleyan University's Webster Family Natatorium on Sunday.
Ben Howell '24 led the way in 12
th place (fourth place in the consolation final) and three teammates competed in the preconsolation final.
Ethan del Rosario '24 finished first in that race (17
th overall), followed by
Henry Wiemeyer '26 in 20
th place overall and
Sam Pettengill '25 in 22
nd place.
Hamilton finished in ninth place out of 11 teams. Six NESCAC teams are ranked in the top 25 in Division III in the latest College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America dual meet poll.
