Nathaniel Taft '27 (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde HS) earned a 2026 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America men's Division III all-America selection on Tuesday, March 24 when the organization announced its award winners.

The athletes are recognized for their performances at the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at IU Indianapolis' IU Natatorium from March 18 to March 21. The top 16 finishers in all individual events and relays received all-America recognition.

Taft made the second team for the 50- and 100-yard freestyle. He finished fifth in the consolation final (13
th overall) in both events.

Taft posted a time of 20.16 seconds in the 50 free finals after finishing in 20.07 seconds in the preliminary heats. This was his third all-America award in the event after he finished sixth (first team) at the 2024 championships and seventh (first team) in 2025.

Taft posted a time of 44.33 seconds in the 100 free consolation final. He recorded a time of 44.24 seconds in the preliminary heats. Taft collected his third all-America award in this event as well after he finished fifth (first team) at the 2024 championships and eighth (first team) in 2025.

Taft increased his all-America award total to eight for his Hamilton career. He made the first team for the 200 free in 2024 and 2025.
