Hamilton College's
Ramon Aroca Gonzalez '26 topped the 124-player field in his first collegiate tournament and the men's golf team finished fourth out of 24 teams in the 38
th playing of Middlebury College's Duke Nelson Invitational, which was held at Ralph Myhre Golf Course on Sept. 10 and 11.

The Continentals were tied for eighth place after they recorded a four-man team score of 305 on Saturday. Hamilton shot up four places on Sunday thanks to a white-hot team score of 287, which was the best by anyone all weekend, and finished the tournament at 592.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute captured the team title at 590 and Middlebury College and Trinity College tied for second place just one shot ahead of the Continentals. Nationally ranked No. 13 Babson College ended up in fifth place at 598 and No. 16 New York University tied for ninth at 606.

Aroca Gonzalez earned individual medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 140. He started with a 71 and fired a 2-under 69 in the final round.

Billy Geach '23 continued his impressive Hamilton career as he tied for seventh place at 147 after rounds of 76 and 71.
Gunnar Senatore '24 and
Tyler Tornoe '25 tied for 33
rd place at 153. Senatore carded a career-best 73 on Sunday while Tornoe, who played at Dickinson College last season, registered rounds of 78 and 75.
Brian Healy '25 finished strong with a 74 and tied for 51
st place at 155.

The Continentals are at the Williams College Invitational on Sept. 17 and 18 at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
