Hamilton College's Joe Reiner '22 led the Continentals to a 6-3 non-conference dual match win against Ithaca College at Ithaca's Glazer Arena on Wednesday.
 
Hamilton (7-8 overall) is 20^th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings for the Northeast Region. The Continentals play a NESCAC match at nationally ranked No. 3 Tufts University on Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m.
 
The Bombers (8-9) last defeated Hamilton in April 2018. Ithaca recorded its wins at first and second flight singles and third flight doubles.
 
Reiner recovered from an 0-6 loss in the first set at third flight singles and registered his 34^th career win after he outlasted his opponent 10-7 in the third set super-tiebreaker. He teamed up with Eric Stein '23 for a win at second flight doubles. The victory was the fourth this spring for the pairing of Reiner and Stein.
 
Nicolas Gritz '25 improved to 10-8 after he triumphed 11-9 in the third set super-tiebreaker at fourth flight singles. Gianni Esposito '24 and Mark Apsey '25 were winners in straight sets at fifth and sixth flight singles, respectively. Matt Bartok '23 and Connor Griff '25 prevailed 7-5 in a tiebreaker at first flight doubles for their fifth win as a pairing.
