Hamilton College finished in fourth place out of eight teams in University of Rochester's 2022 Fred Kravetz Invitational, which was held on April 15 and 16.
 
The Continentals held their own in an exceptional field that included two nationally ranked teams as well as Middlebury College. Friday's breezy first round was played at Irondequoit Country Club and Saturday's final round at Oak Hill Country Club's West Course was held in cool and wet conditions.
 
Hamilton posted a four-man team score of 325 at Irondequoit CC and all five players shot in the 70s en route to a 296 at Oak Hill for a tournament total of 621. Nationally ranked No. 24 Rochester captured the team title at 599 and No. 5 Wittenberg University was runner-up at 603. A second Rochester team ended up in third place at 618.
 
Billy Geach '23 led the Continentals in a tie for 13^th place out of 42 golfers at 154. Geach has posted a score in the 70s in all 11 rounds this season. His 78 on Friday was Hamilton's best round of the day, and he added a 76 on Saturday.
 
Will Whittaker '25 was another shot back in a tie for 15^th place as he wrapped up the weekend with a season-best 74. Tommy Kantaros '24 finished a shot behind Whittaker in a tie for 18^th place at 156 including a final-round 74.
 
Jack Habeeb '22, who landed one stroke behind Kantaros, fired the Continentals' best round of the weekend with a 72 at Oak Hill. Jack McKeon '22 chipped in a 78 on Saturday and finished at 162.
 
Hamilton competes in the Williams College Spring Invitational at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass., on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.
