Suratt '24 plays in national individual men's squash championships

Sophomore drops both matches in Philadelphia on Friday

The Hamilton College men's squash season ended with the 2022 College Squash Association National Collegiate Individual Championships at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia on Friday.

Tate Suratt '24 was the 15th seed in the Molloy Cup's B Division South. Good played a tight first round match against No. 2 seed James Flynn from University of Pennsylvania, but ultimately lost in three games (12-10, 11-8, 11-8) in the morning. Suratt then dropped into the quarterfinals of the consolation draw where he was swept by seventh-seeded Arnaav Sareen from Cornell University (11-7, 11-3, 11-3) in the afternoon.

Suratt was selected for the 2022 New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Squash All-Conference Team on February 25. He finished the season with eight wins -- all at the first position -- for the Continentals.
