ROCHESTER, N.Y. – University of Rochester players won seven matches in three games and the Yellowjackets defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 8-1 inside Rochester's Lyman Squash Center on Thursday evening, Feb. 6.
Hamilton is 30
th in the College Squash Association (CSA) men's varsity team rankings while the Yellowjackets are 16
th. The Continentals had won their previous three matches and four of their last five.
Tate Burgin '25 picked up the team point for Hamilton as he allowed just seven points in a three-game sweep at the ninth position. Burgin also won his match on Feb. 2 in three games. He improved his record to 4-3 this season with the victory.
The Continentals return to the court for the CSA Divisional Team Championships at Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The three-day event begins on Friday, Feb. 28.
