The Hamilton College Continentals posted an 8-1 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Sunday.
The Continentals, who are ranked 18th in the region, improved their record to 5-2 overall and evened their conference record at 1-1. Hamilton plays another NESCAC match at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m.
Connor Griff '25, Eric Stein '23 and
Joe Reiner '22 won both their singles and doubles matches for the Continentals. Griff is ranked 24th in Northeast Region singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and has a 9-3 record. Reiner improved his career singles record to 31-14.
Nicolas Gritz '25 lost just one game in his fourth flight singles match, and
Gianni Esposito '24 improved to 8-1 this season with his victory in fifth flight singles.
Mark Apsey '25 won in straight sets in sixth flight singles.
Griff and
Matt Bartok '23 lost just one game in first flight doubles. Reiner and Stein teamed up for second flight doubles and won as a pairing for the first time this season.
