Men's tennis still undefeated after 7-2 win over Luther in Florida

Stein '23, Reiner '22 and Gritz '25 win both their singles and doubles matches

The Hamilton College Continentals won five singles matches in straight sets and finished off a 7-2 non-conference win against Luther College at the USTA National Campus in Orlando on Monday afternoon.

Hamilton improved its record to 4-0 in Florida as all four opponents have been out-of-conference. The Continentals have one last non-conference match in Orlando on Tuesday, March 22 against Grinnell College at Lake Cane Tennis Center at noon.

Eric Stein '23, Joe Reiner '22 and Nicolas Gritz '25 won both their singles and doubles matches for Hamilton. Gritz and Reiner prevailed in a tiebreaker at second flight doubles, 8-7 (7-4). Stein and Gianni Esposito '24 were 8-3 winners at third flight doubles.

Connor Griff '25 edged his first flight singles opponent in a tiebreaker in the first set before he clinched the match with a 6-0 decision in the second set. Mark Apsey '25 was victorious by scores of 6-2, 6-4 at sixth flight singles.
