Preview for this weekend's NESCAC men's squash championship

Continentals will play at Wesleyan in the first round on Friday night

The Hamilton College Continentals will play the Wesleyan University Cardinals in the first round of the 2022 NESCAC Men's Squash Championship at Wesleyan's Rosenbaum Squash Center on Friday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.

Hamilton has an overall record of 4-7 this season, including 2-3 against conference opponents, and the Continentals are seeded eighth for the championship. Hamilton defeated Wesleyan 7-2 at home back on Dec. 4. The Cardinals have a 3-5 record and are the ninth seed.

The winner between the Continentals and Wesleyan will play top seed Trinity College in a quarterfinal at Trinity on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m., while the loser of Friday's match plays the loser of Middlebury College and Connecticut College in the ninth place match at Wesleyan on Saturday at noon. The majority of the event is at Trinity's George A. Kellner Squash Courts. Williams College will not be participating in the championship due to COVID-19 protocols.
