Hamilton College men's rowing finished in 23rd place out of 41 boats in the collegiate eights race at the 2022 Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass., on Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton posted a time of 15:25.007 on the three-mile course. The Continentals had a time of 3:27.140 at the Riverside Boat Club, 8:16.449 at Weld Boathouse and 12:48.599 at the Cambridge Boat Club. Hamilton finished ahead of Middlebury, Colby, Bowdoin and Connecticut College, and behind Tufts, Bates, Trinity, Williams and Wesleyan. Drexel University was the race winner in 14:20.496.

"The Charles has all the excitement of a big race with so many boats competing together from all our peer programs," Head Coach
James Lister said. "It's an opportunity to see where we are excelling and where we have a need for growth. The men finished 23rd with a starting position of 23
rd with some Division I boats in the race category. We showed good speed at different parts, but left some speed on the table. Both crews have an opportunity this weekend at the Head of the Fish to see many of the same colleges."
