The Hamilton College Continentals breezed to a 9-0 win against the Vassar College Brewers at Vassar's Kenyon Squash Courts on Sunday afternoon.
Hamilton, which is 28th in the College Squash Overall Team Rankings, improved its record to 4-7. Eight matches lasted the minimum three games and
Oliver Constable '23 won in four at the eighth position. The 37
th-ranked Brewers dropped to 5-6.
The Continentals return to the courts on Friday, Feb. 4 for the 2022 NESCAC Men's Squash Championship at Trinity College and Wesleyan University.
Tate Suratt '24, Waleed Nisar '24 and
Rufus Somerby '22 were Hamilton's winners at the top of the ladder. Somerby picked up his 18
th career win with the Continentals.
Nicholas Carabatsos '24, Tate Burgin '25 and
Tripp Peters '23 dominated in the middle of the ladder. Burgin leads the team with six victories this season.
Blake Davis '25 improved his season record to 5-4 with his triumph at the seventh position.
Graham Nielsen '22 gave up just 12 points at the ninth position for his first career win at Hamilton.
