2021 IWLCA D3 All-America Team release
Pierre is one of 19 athletes voted to the first team and a total of 57 players were honored in NCAA Division III. The all-America award is the first of her Hamilton career and the 27th in team history. Pierre is the Continentals' first first team all-American since 2017.
Pierre had already made the IWLCA all-region team and all-NESCAC team earlier this spring. She led the team with 15 goals and 17 points and tied for the team lead with 12 ground balls in five games as a midfielder. She also caused seven turnovers. She was selected the IWLCA Division III Offensive Player of the Week for the week of April 12 to April 18 after she scored a career-high six goals in an 11-10 victory against then-nationally ranked No. 15 Trinity College. The half-dozen goals were the most by a Hamilton women's player in a game since 2011.
Pierre finished her 37-game collegiate career with 36 points on 27 goals and nine assists, 43 ground balls, 25 draw controls and 22 caused turnovers. The nationally ranked No. 19 Continentals went 3-2 against No. 15 Wesleyan University and No. 20 Trinity during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season.
